Tuna and Palacios chorizo pasty

An ideal recipe for sharing, and one to which you can add any other ingredient you wish.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 green peppers
  • 1 onion
  • 2 leeks
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 3 small tins of tuna
  • ½ Palacios chorizo
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt

PREPARATION

Chop the vegetables into small pieces and sauté them in a pan along with the olive oil, the garlic and the onion.

When they start to brown, chop and add the Palacios chorizo. Then add the tuna (make sure you drain it first), stir the mixture and leave it to cook for a further 2 minutes.

Sprinkle a baking tray with flour, lay a sheet of puff pastry onto it and place the fried filling on top, making sure to leave space around the edges. Then lay the second sheet on top of the filling and fold the edges inwards. Use a fork to press and shape the edges and make sure the pasty is fully sealed.

Heat the oven to 220°C, place the pasty inside and bake it for approximately 25 minutes.
